Changes in modern Frisian verbal inflection

The goal of this study is to design a cognition/memory bases algorithm that is able to replicate both the (near-)equilibrium stage and the shifts in verbal inflexion as observed during the last 300 years of Frisian language history. The model should help to disentangle the relation between token and type frequency and their impact on analogy and levelling in the restructuring of Frisian verbal paradigms.
