Note: The 6 October 1976 Incident was an event where the police, military as well as right wing groups stormed into Thammasat University where students had gathered to protest against the return of Field Marshall Thanom Kittikachorn, a former Prime Minister who left the country after the 14 October 1973 incident. The tree and the rope which transform into the number 6 refer to a famous picture during the incident where a man was hung from a tree and another hit him with a chair in the middle of a group of people who watched this incident with smiles on their face.
