Colour slides by Dutch photographer H. Serrarens of the ANC refugee settlement Mazimbu in Tanzania and (the students of) its secondary school SOMAFCO, made during a visit in Spring 1990. Subjects: Charlotte Maxeke creche, ANC-Holland Solidarity Hospital, cultural performances, Radio Freedom studio, piggery, workshops, furniture factory, SOMAFCO school facilities and students, primary school pupils, portraits and the visit of ANC-leaders Albertina and Walter Sisulu and Govan Mbeki to Mazimbu. A selection of these slides were published in SamSam magazine, June 1990 (see Annex K93/26).
