This data set was collected by Sofia Rosero from digital and paperback copies of Reports by the Canadian Department of Labour. It contains information on the strikes and lockouts in Canada for the period 1901-1916. The data is classified by industry and locates the number of conflicts, number of employees affected, and the approximate time losses in working days for each industrial sector. It also shows the results of the disputes classified by year and type of dispute (strikes and lockouts).
