Olifantstand geschonken aan Jacob Theodoor Cremer (1847-1923)

An astonishing gift. These elephant tusks were presented by Tjong A Fie, a Chinese magnate on Sumatra. The happy recipients are portrayed on the ivory: Jacob Cremer (1847-1923) and his wife Annie Hogan.
