Zilveren kandelaar
The candlestick is one of a series of six. The coat of arms of Amsterdam, the Temminck family coat of arms and the initials JT are engraved on the candlestick. The candlesticks were probably made for the Temminck family, an Amsterdam family of regents, in which case the initials would refer to Jacob Temminck (1748–1806), cashier of the VOC (Dutch East India Company) in Amsterdam.
