A bandieri is a small size, handpainted cloth shown by supporters in the ‘sfeervakken’, the section where the fanatic supporters gather. This bandieri was made in 2013 by Vak 410 (section 410). Supporters are just as proud of their city as they are of their club. An unmistakable characteristic of Amsterdam is its tolerance. One of the city’s symbols which everyone immediately recognises is the cannabis leaf. Smoking may be prohibited at Amsterdam ArenA, but sometimes the stands are more like an Amsterdam coffee shop.
