This stone tablet belongs to a series of three matching tablets with standing male figures. The text on the top edge reads: IN THREE TRIBES OF THE WORLD. A monk, seen in front, has a book in his hands. At the top it says CLANS, on the bottom edge, in two lines: I.TEACH / THESE.2. The stone with the digging peasant was given to the K.O.G. in 1880, the other two were acquired in 1927 by the predecessor of the VVAG. It dates from the first half of the 17th century. In 1927, the unified triad was built into the Sint Luciensteeg. The series is derived from Elandsgracht no. 144. Size: 50 x 35cm.
